Our wedding photographer studio in Trani, Puglia
A wedding does not wait. While you are exchanging your vows, your mother is drying her eyes three rows back.
Why a studio and not one photographer on their own?
A wedding does not wait. While you are exchanging your vows, your mother is drying her eyes three rows back. One photographer working alone has to choose which of those two pictures to lose.
So, as a rule, we work in two: two viewpoints on the same moments, full coverage of the parts that matter, no choice between the ceremony and the people watching it.
The studio is at Via Umberto 130, 76125 Trani, on the Adriatic coast of Puglia, about forty-five minutes north of Bari airport. In thirty years we have documented more than 5,000 weddings: in Trani cathedral, in the villas and masserie of the region, in castles and old towns, on the shoreline with the wind coming off the harbour.
Everything has changed in thirty years. The cameras, the formats, the way people celebrate. The reason couples call has not changed: somebody has to watch the day carefully while you are busy living it. Whether we do it well is not for this page to decide: there are 168 verified reviews with names and dates on them, and we quote none of them here.

How do we work on the wedding day?
First we plan the day with you: times, places, the people you care about. If you live abroad, that conversation happens by video call, and the page on planning from abroad sets out the whole sequence. By the time we arrive, we already know where to look.
On the day itself we shoot reportage: no forced poses, a constant and quiet presence from the preparations to the last dance. Where the story asks for it, we add the drone and the action cam.
For couples who want photographs and film from one lean team, two operators cover the day together and the wedding film is planned with the photographs rather than bolted on afterwards. The photography is still the heart of everything we do.
At the end, the selection and the post-production follow a single line, signed by Luciano. Frames from two different cameras become one story, and you can still shape part of it to your own taste.

Who will you meet?
Three photographers, three defined roles.
Luciano Zitoli, founder
Thirty years of weddings, one style throughout: reportage, a frankly emotional account of real life, with no forced poses. He plans the day with you and signs the final selection and the post-production.
Nicola Curci, second photographer
During the day he takes the other viewpoints: the reactions, the details, everything happening away from the front row. His frames go into the same selection and the same album, not into a separate folder.
Alessia Zitoli, newborn photographer
She runs Little Stories by Zitoli, the branch of the studio for pregnancy, newborns and christenings. Many couples come back with a pushchair a few years after the wedding, and she is the one waiting for them.
What couples ask about the studio
How many of you photograph a wedding?
It depends on the contract and on the wedding. As a rule we work in two, so that the coverage of the day is complete and you get two different views of the same moments rather than one view twice.
Do you only work in Puglia?
No. We have no limit of distance and we look at every request. For work far from Puglia, travel, meals and accommodation, and sometimes more than one day, affect the quote, and every item is written out before you decide.
Who chooses the photographs?
The final selection and the post-production count as much as the shot itself: they are the author's signature, so Luciano follows that line personally. You can still make part of it your own, and the proposed selection for the album is a starting point, not a verdict.
Can we visit the studio in Trani?
Yes. Write on WhatsApp first, at +39 347 717 3992, and we will agree a time that suits you at Via Umberto 130. If you are abroad, we do the same meeting by video call, with finished work on the screen.
How much does a wedding cost with you?
A complete wedding sits in a range we state publicly: from 1,500 to 3,000 euros. What your day costs inside that range depends on the hours, the second photographer, the film and the album, and the proposal separates every item so you can see it.
Do you already have the date?
Write to us and we will check whether the day is free, then arrange a meeting at the studio or a video call, whichever is easier from where you are.
